Choosing Your Season in Life

The thing I love about London is that there are seasons for which you can experience various things; in winter there’s the festivity that brings London to life with all the Christmas markets, cold frosty morning walks in the park, mulled wine and Sunday roasts at your favourite pub, or the blossoming of flowers in the spring and longer days. Summer is one of the most vibrant times of the year when people frolic in parks sipping summer vine and pimms or host bbqs in their backyards.

Just like in life, there are seasons.
For going inwards, for expanding, focusing on your family or on yourself. You get to choose.

The last few weeks I have probably been a little sleep-deprived but I have been in the ‘season’ of focusing on family, friends and my intimate relationships…

Whereas September and October were my seasons for focusing on my business and executing, I chose to focus on fun and relationships whilst in London. That’s a choice I made. And that’s ok.

I say this because sometimes we can feel like we need to do everything, and that can feel overwhelming. And as someone who feels overwhelmed at times, I recognise it’s when I try to do it all - and no one can do it all for prolonged periods. Well maybe you think you can but at some point, something has to give. Whether it’s your health, your relationships or your finances.

What season are you in now?

Work
Health
Family
Friendship
Romantic relationships
Or a combination of the above?

Remember it is ok to choose the season you are in!
